From the artist's personal exploration into mixed identities, to his small stint collaborating with clothing designers, mental awareness “Dark thoughts” collections , 11's practice is always grappling with the tensions between interior experience and external expression. Being the son of an immigrant and the first one in his family to have been born in the country that colonised my mother’s land. His art is in a sense a deep dive into a self discovery regarding his own identity.
