Bee Pedal Ready Celebrates International Women's Day with Manchester's Thriving Cycling Community!
On March 3rd, 2024, Bee Pedal Ready was proud to join forces with fellow Manchester cycling groups for a truly inspiring International Women's Day bike ride. The streets were abuzz with energy as diverse women from MCR Active, Lady Pedal, Bike Station MCR, Station South, Al-Hilal, and of course, Bee Pedal Ready, gathered at St. Peter's Square for a vibrant send-off.
The ride itself was a joyous celebration of the growing women's cycling movement in Manchester. As we cycled through the city, shoulder-to-shoulder with our fellow riders, we experienced the camaraderie and shared passion for cycling that transcends backgrounds and abilities.
Reaching the iconic Victoria Baths marked the culmination of the ride, where we were treated to a delicious feast prepared by the Mud Kitchen. This provided the perfect opportunity to share stories, forge new connections, and celebrate the power of community.
The International Women's Day bike ride solidified Bee Pedal Ready's commitment to promoting inclusivity and accessibility in cycling for women in Manchester. It was a powerful reminder that cycling is truly for everyone, offering a sense of freedom, fitness, and connection.
If you're looking to join the thriving women's cycling community in Manchester, Bee Pedal Ready welcomes you with open arms! We encourage you to explore our upcoming events, designed to cater to various skill levels, and experience the joy of cycling alongside inspiring women.
