The founder is Belinda Everett, who is a qualified bike mechanic and Ride Leader and has vast amounts of experience working in the cycling sector. She has also just become the Greater Manchester Bicycle Mayor. Through her experience in the bike industry, Belinda has seen and faced many hurdles and challenges most of all the lack of representation of women and people from different cultural backgrounds.
And so, Bee Pedal Ready CIC in Manchester UK was created. Here you are supported to learn new skills, to repair, fix and ride bikes in a women-led environment.
We have regular bike rides for beginners, learn to ride, intermediate and also for the more experienced rider. The rides are about building confidence as a collective, meeting like -minded people, and most of all to have fun!
